Users agree not to download, copy, reprint or otherwise distribute encyclopedia materials without the permission of the Historical Society. Users must determine if use of the materials falls under U.S. copyright law’s “Fair Use” guidelines and does not infringe on the proprietary rights of the Historical Society as the legal copyright holder of the encyclopedia.
Encyclopedia content may be reproduced, broadcast, and displayed for noncommercial educational purposes (including scholarly papers, reviews, and news reporting) with appropriate citation and credit to the Centre County Encyclopedia of History & Culture.
